Products that help you use your iron
Here are a couple of the products that we find useful for using your branding iron. These items help make the process as easy as possible and gets you branding your projects quickly!
We prefer a trigger-start torch such as these:
Bernzomatic TS4000 Trigger Start Torch
This is the torch that we use for the test burns on every iron we ship. It has the power to heat irons of any size quickly and reliably.
Bernzomatic BZ8250HT Trigger Start Torch with Hose
This was the torch I used before the TS4000 and it works excellently. The hose feature allows you to leave the propane bottle sitting on the bench and is a much lighter weight option for heating.
Bernzomatic WT2301 Trigger Start Torch
A lower cost alternative to the TS4000, this torch will get the job done in just a little more time.
Bernzomatic Propane Cylinder
This is the ubiquitous cylinder that is often pictured when one thinks of a plumber’s torch. This tank has enough propane to heat your iron dozens of times.
Coleman Camp Stove Propane Cylinder
Another popular option is to use the propane cylinder that’s common on camp stoves. This tank will also heat your irons several dozen times.
